Basement 45 . Website design, CMS development, Google Integration
Basement 45 is a new nightclub vying for attention in the already crowded and colourful night life of Bristol. Attempting to bring a touch of class to the underground scene Basement 45 is hoping to become one of the clubbing institutions of Bristol.
This was a fun website to work on – we love the music, the scene and the people. The challenges were obvious due to the owners ambitions to bring underground clubbing in to the spotlight. The website had to mirror this ambition, appeal to new target markets whilst staying true to the scene.
In this instance we chose to use tools the boys were already familiar with – Google Picasa and Web Albums, Google Calendar; to integrate website administration in to their daily routine. Google’s wonderful set of API’s, and a specifically designed, CakePHP powered CMS has made sure this is a website that works.
